Gordon Stone HBLA, M.Arch was born in Toronto and
graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours Degree in Landscape Architecture in
1989. He continued his post secondary education at the University of Oregon, and completed a
Masters Degree in Architecture in 1991. Since 1991 Stone has successfully housed his own
Design Build Construction company with projects based both in Oregon and Ontario.
Stone's experience in both site and structure, as well as his skills as an artisan bring an
unprecedented level of creativity to his homes. From the custom glass and tile work in the
bathrooms, to the hand hewn mantels over custom stone work fireplaces, to the intricate details
of a hand laid floor, a Stone Custom Home upholds the time-honored art of building enhanced
with the knowledge of today's architectural advances.
Stone, his wife Holly and their three children moved permanently to Collingwood in 2006,
where they have built their own Stone Custom Home, and are enjoying their roots within the
community.
